The Non Commodity for Containerised Cargo Clearance (CCC) Scheme, which focuses on the clearance of non-commodity concerns for containerised sea freight, replaces what was previously known as the Broker Accreditation Scheme (BAS) which collectively contained:
Containerised Cargo Clearance scheme for FCL/X
Automatic Entry Processing for FCL
LCL Packing Scheme
The scope of the Non Commodity for Containerised Cargo Clearance (CCC) Scheme includes:
assessment of non-commodity concerns for FCL, FCX and LCL sea-freight consignments
assessment of unpack location postcodes for FCL and FCX sea-freight consignments
reporting of non-commodity concerns related to these consignments to AQIS
direction of these consignments to a Quarantine Approved Premises for further AQIS intervention.
Access to this course is available through ITALC and requires the intending participant to complete two online modules as pre-requisites for attending the two-day classroom course conducted by AQIS officers in various locations around Australia.
