Non-commodity CCC Scheme

The Non Commodity for Containerised Cargo Clearance (CCC) Scheme, which focuses on the clearance of non-commodity concerns for containerised sea freight, replaces what was previously known as the Broker Accreditation Scheme (BAS) which collectively contained:

  • Containerised Cargo Clearance scheme for FCL/X
  • Automatic Entry Processing for FCL
  • LCL Packing Scheme

The scope of the Non Commodity for Containerised Cargo Clearance (CCC) Scheme includes:

  • assessment of non-commodity concerns for FCL, FCX and LCL sea-freight consignments
  • assessment of unpack location postcodes for FCL and FCX sea-freight consignments
  • reporting of non-commodity concerns related to these consignments to AQIS
  • direction of these consignments to a Quarantine Approved Premises for further AQIS intervention.

Access to this course is available through ITALC and requires the intending participant to complete two online modules as pre-requisites for attending the two-day classroom course conducted by AQIS officers in various locations around Australia.

Course fees vary in locations around Australia depending on numbers attending the course. In NSW, QLD and VIC course fees are:

  • CBFCA Members - $455*
  • Non-members - $525*
